- How to calculate your start-up cost and your monthly ongoing expenses, so you will know how much capital you will need to raise.
- At what stage will your business become profitable, your break-even point.
- How to cost and price your fashion product
- What should be your markup in order to be profitable?
- How to calculate and plan your business cash flow.
- How to manage inventory.
- Ways of sponsoring your inventory.
The workshop includes OVER 3 hours of training:
- Class 1: In this first session I will show you how to determine if your business concept is feasible, how to calculate your start-up cost and ongoing monthly expenses as well as the nuts and bolts of financial planning.
- Class 2: In this second session I will walk you through all the ins and outs of costing and pricing your product in order to be profitable, and will share inside tips, formulas, and strategies for correct costing. I will also teach you how to calculate your breakeven point which is the point where your business becomes profitable.
- Class 3: In this third session I will show how to calculate your cash flow, and set up a financial plan that will last you through the first 2 years of starting out. I will also share with you X ways of sponsoring your inventory (business???).

Boaz David
Boaz David is the founder and CEO of Human B, a New York firm providing fashion business consultancy and production management services for the fashion industry. Here Boaz channels his design background and all-around business and management experience, helping fashion designers start and build a successful fashion brand. Over his 20 plus years of experience in the fashion industry Boaz have worked in the contemporary and designer markets in NYC, where he established himself as an expert in technical/garment construction and production. He was responsible for setting up, restructuring and directing design and production departments for brands such as Yigal Azrouel, Nili Lotan, Alice & Trixie and Raven among others, including his own namesake women’s brand which was sold in high-end specialty stores throughout the US and around the world.Recently through Human B, Boaz was instrumental in launching the highly buzzed about New York brands: Pret-A-Surf, Alvin Valley, Daniel Vosovic and ADEAM, while also overseeing product development and production for brands such as Monika Chiang, XPRO and DHPink among others.
